The Legal Aid Advisory Committee held preliminary discussions with Professor Yvon Dandurand and Vivienne Chin on the economic analysis of legal aid. In the fall and winter, the Committee looked further into the issue and, in the spring of 2018, asked Dandurand to prepare a feasibility study for the economic analysis that would support the economic benefits of legal aid funding. Dandurand`s preliminary findings were discussed on November 8, 2018.
