Whatever your goals, fitness level, age, or interests, a Y subscription can help you do your best. The maximum number of people who can be part of your membership is determined by the number of people living in your household. We pride ourselves on offering flexible membership options for every individual and family to help you live your safest and healthiest life. We offer a variety of membership options for adults, families, young adults and seniors and everyone will be able to find a membership type that suits their household. Serving the community is a big part of who we are. If cost is a barrier for you and/or your family, please speak to one of our member representatives about the options available. We encourage people who need help using our facility to bring their own caregiver. The caregiver must sign the risk assumption and waiver agreement at the time of each visit and can only enter with the member. Caregivers who wish to use the facility for their personal use must have a valid subscription. Please bring government-issued photo identification and your YMCA membership card if you have another Y. Youth (0-17 years old) who wish to become their own member can purchase an in-person youth membership at any YMCA location in Greater Wichita.

Young members receive discounts on sports and youth programs and full access to all YMCA locations, amenities and water parks in the greater Wichita area. In addition, young members have unlimited access to the YMCA360. Your Y membership may be suspended for one (1) to three (3) months in a calendar year. All locks require written notice ten (10) days prior to your next draft date to process the months for which you wish the suspension to take effect. At the end of the detention period, your membership and membership fees will be automatically reinstated. The actions listed below are not an exhaustive list of behaviors considered inappropriate in our facilities and programs. However, any other conduct not listed below may be considered unacceptable and may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges or participation in the Program. If you or any of your family members participating in a program or activity have special medical needs (e.g., a disability or health condition, including severe or life-threatening allergies or other medical and/or dietary restrictions) that require accommodation, may impact the Program experience, or require additional staff training and/or supervision; Please inform the Program Manager or Branch Manager prior to participating in such an activity. If you decide to become a member, choose the membership program that works best for you, for example: an adult membership or a family membership. Complete all required forms, including an application with your personal information, a member engagement survey, a monthly payment form, and an accountability form. Then, pay your registration fee and the initial payment of your membership to access your YMCA facilities. Keep in mind that you can upgrade your membership to take advantage of additional services such as CPR classes or by using the facilities of a YMCA across town. YMCA members have access to state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a wide range of wellness programs and licensed child care. Most YMCAs offer flexible membership plans, including reduced fees for low-income members. Please contact the Member Services Office at any Y location if you wish to transfer your membership from one office to another within the YMCA of the Metropolitan Los Angeles Association.

If you transfer to a Y outside of the Los Angeles Metropolitan YMCA, we will be happy to provide you with a letter of recommendation. This letter may help waive your membership fees to many Y`s across the country. Don`t forget to cancel your YMCA membership in the Los Angeles Metro Area before upgrading to a Y outside the YMCA of Metro Los Angeles. Participants with financial need are encouraged to apply for financial assistance for a portion of the membership or program fees. The Y uses a sliding scale to rate each candidate individually. Let us know your needs and we`ll work to help. In the Y, we do not reject anyone for insolvency.
