In collaboration with the Texas Real Estate Commission, Texas A&M University`s Real Estate Center developed this real estate law update program with the support of an advisory board comprised of active commissioners, licensees, lawyers, and training providers. Texas real estate licensees must complete this legal refresher course every license cycle. Once you have passed your final Legal Update II exam, we will report your course hours to TREC. Education providers have 10 days to report course credit hours to TREC. Stop wasting your time in traditional real estate classrooms. Renew your license easily! You can participate in our trainings if you have held a real estate license for at least two years. However, if you`ve only been an agent for a year, you`ll need to take Annual Seller Training Courses (CASs), and unfortunately, we don`t offer that yet. If you are a licensed real estate agent, you must complete our continuing education courses for brokers. Yes! If you want to renew your first licence at the end of your first two years of licence, you must pass SAE. This package responds to your request for an 8-hour legal update for SAE. You must meet your continuing education requirement prior to the renewal date to receive credit and keep your licence. If you miss your deadline, you can either pay TREC a $200 deferral fee to extend your term and licence by 60 days OR you can renew your licence as “inactive”.
