in 1943 while driving for a trucking company whose owner was retiring. Pete bought the almost new truck he was driving and continued the previous owner`s relationship with Sunkist – a company Sims Trucking is proud to have consistently provided service for over 65 years. Our goal is to provide transportation services at the highest level, as well as safe and punctual deliveries at fair and competitive prices, while creating a safe workplace for our employees and maintaining integrity, fairness and honesty towards our customers and business partners. The restored truck is not the original of the Sims` fleet. It is powered by a 743 cubic inch (just over 12 liter) model NHBS Cummins engine with @275 hp.
